Why Start Financial Education Early?

Research shows that money habits form by the age of seven. Yet most young people leave school without understanding how to manage a budget, recognise debt traps, or plan for their future.

We believe every child deserves the chance to build these essential life skills in a supportive, engaging environment. Our approach combines real-world scenarios with interactive exercises that stick.

My daughter came home after just one session and started tracking her pocket money in a notebook. She now thinks twice before spending on things she does not really need. This programme has been genuinely transformative for our family.

Learning That Feels Like Play

Our sessions never feel like lectures. Young participants run their own pretend businesses, make spending decisions with play money, and even experience what happens when impulse purchases derail a budget.

These hands-on moments create lasting memories and real understanding that no textbook can match.

Common Questions

What age groups do you work with?
We offer programmes for children as young as six and teenagers up to seventeen. Each programme is tailored to the cognitive and emotional development stage of its participants.
Where are sessions held?
Most sessions take place at our central Edinburgh location near Haymarket. We also deliver workshops at schools and community centres across the city.
Do parents need to attend?
For children under ten, we recommend a parent or guardian stays nearby. Our Family Finance Workshop specifically involves parents as active participants alongside their children.
How many sessions are in a complete programme?
Our standard programmes run for six weekly sessions, though we also offer intensive weekend workshops and one-off taster sessions for those who want to explore before committing.

As a secondary school teacher, I have seen first-hand how unprepared many students are for managing money after they leave education. This programme fills a crucial gap. I have recommended it to dozens of parents.
